The head office of Mizuho Corporate Bank is located in Marunouchi, Tokyo.

It was the corporate and investment banking subsidiary of MHCB, Mizuho Financial Group, which is Japan’s second largest financial services conglomerate. It is offering investment banking services under the name Mizuho Bank in July 2013.

MHCB was created in April 2002 by merging with Dai-ichi Kangyo Bank and the Industrial Bank of Japan of Fuji Bank’s corporate and investment banking division. Backed by the credit rating and financial strength of Mizuho Financial Group, MHCB has been recognized as a leader in the financial markets. As a major player and was ranked among Japan’s major corporate and investment banks by market share. Brokerage Branch Mizuho Securities U.S. Treasury was also a primary dealer in the securities market. MHCB opened a branch in Wuxi, China in 2006 to support transactions with Japanese companies operating in the city. The bank also had a branch in the Philippines, partnering with the Bank of the Philippine Islands. In 2013, it merged with the former Mizuho Bank, forming the integrated institution “Mizuho Bank”.
