‘BANK INTERNASIONAL INDONESIA’ is one of the private banks in Indonesia that is also part of the Malay Banking Berhad (Maybank) Group, one of the largest financial services group in ASEAN. Previously, Maybank Indonesia was known as PT Bank International Indonesia TBK (BII), established on 15 May 1959, licensed as a foreign exchange bank in 1988 and part of the Jakarta Stock Exchange and Surabaya. was listed on the stock exchange as a publicly listed company. In 1989 it merged to form the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
